About this book

Tobias is taken by Taylor—the human-Controller who once tortured him—when she claims to represent the Yeerk Peace Movement and asks the Animorphs to help sabotage the Yeerk Pool. To make the mission possible, Tobias must acquire and control the ravenous instincts of a Taxxon morph while deciding whether to trust an enemy and how far the team should go when innocent human hosts could be hurt. It’s a test of control, loyalty, and the moral limits of a war with no easy choices.

Setting: An unnamed West Coast U.S. suburb; primarily the underground Yeerk Pool complex and city tunnels/sewers; contemporary late 1990s
